What is the hendy collective?

I'M A CREATOR WHO BUILDS INFRASTRUCTURE.

Published creative and former academic - who's also led large-scale digital transformation and infrastructure delivery across public and private sectors.

I built Magpie Standard because creators need infrastructure, not just advocacy. AI licensing sits where technology meets creative rights, regulation, and institutional trust. That's where I work.

magpie standard

AI companies need licensed content. Creators need to be paid. There's no infrastructure connecting them — until now…

Magpie Standard is a white-label platform enabling collecting societies, unions, and trade bodies to offer consent-based licensing for AI training. Three rights frameworks. Consent chains for collective works.

Implements all seven building blocks identified by the UK government's ACCCT framework. The EU has allocated €12 million to research AI licensing infrastructure and tools for creators. We've already built it.

Your brand. Your members. Your pricing. Our infrastructure.

MORE ABOUT MAGPIE STANDARD

The polymath approach

the original ends: ‘but oftentimes better than a master of one.’

The most interesting problems don't respect professional boundaries. AI licensing connects technology to creative rights, regulation to institutional trust, infrastructure to individual consent.

I work across domains because that's where the interesting problems live. If your challenge sits at the intersections, we should probably talk
